Elbow size for Ph1 172

Want to replace the orginal plastic tube to samco elbow on my Ph1 172 ( Orginal air box to throttle) What size elbow should i order and where can i get it?
How about the idle control valve? Just leave it to atmosphere or put a little filter on it?? Thank you:boring:

idle control valve? you mean the oil breather that goes into the inlet pipe?

you can get a self sealing take off from merlin motorsport that will do the job, go to samco on their webiste and you will find it

I think that is what i'm talking about. The valve i mention was attached on the inlet manifold behide the throttle. It had a plactic tube conneting the air box pipe. THX

Your origional guess at the idle control valve was correct, a breather filter on it will be fine.
