hello this is my first post and im a bit of a n00b when it comes to anything other than ford so be easy on me .
im looking into getting a new car as ive had a mk5 fiesta now for a year and a half and getting bored of them. even though i have the ford racing puma lump in mine at the moment. ive also been offered a good price for it.
ive been looking into getting a 172/182 as they seem fairly fast and cheap but dont have stupid mpg like the evo's ive been looking at. however ive always liked the look of the v6 clio , ive found this on pistonheads. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1013921.htm .
my question basically is what do i need to get a 172/182 lump in it? im guessing the engine, gearbox, loom, ecu, key, transponder etc. im guessing it would also need bigger brakes. but what about driveshafts and things like that? im guessing id have to get a bigger manifold and cat back than are currently on it?
is the cost going to be stupid? (i can get the work done cheap) am i better off getting a standard 172/182?
