Engine Cover Painting

hi i am lookin for some advice really i want to paint my engine cover but want to change the inlet maifold colour aswell is it easy to take off if so how do you take it off or is it possible to leave on and what paint would you advise to use thank you.

Take it off and spray it with heat resistant spray... Its easy to take off, will take about 15 minutes

i'm away to do my big plastic cover

gonna use halfords paint tins no bother they'll cope the heat as the plastic doesnt get that hot anyway

as for the metal plenum use hammerite spray or either VHT paint

ebay for VERY HIGH TEMPRATURE SPRAY PAINT

it's awesome i painted my rocker cover on my honda red using that paint.
