i have a phase 1 mk2 with the 1.6 16v in it
i changed the engine mount in november because i discovered it had sheered off from the bit that joins to the car itself
i have just been informed by my local garage it has happened again (they discoverd during a timingbelt change).. im getting the part replaced under warrenty but i was thinking... if the bottom engine mount is naffed would it cause the top one to snap?. and what is the best way to tell if its a gonner?
