I have just finished putting in a new engine from a K plate 16v, mine is a M reg. There were a few differences between the two but other than that the engines ok. My old engine used to have 1 bar pressure on idle when hot and would sit a 100 degrees on normal driving. My new engine has between 0 and 1/2 bar of pressure and the temp sits right near the top of the guage!
I dont wanna blow anuva engine up! The replacement engine has had a new head gasket! I use Valvoline 15/40 Fully Synthetic Oil.
Anyone able to offer any clues of how to get over this problem!
