Engine swap

  clio 1.2
Alright there, had my clio 1.2 since september, great car, but speed wise, it isnt the best! Was wondering if you can fit a 2.0 sport engine in, with no problems? And if it would be worth doing? If anyone could help me out, it would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

Not worth the hassle imo, save for a 172, they are cheap as chips anyway.

It is do-able, but you need more than the engine, just to start you need:

Engine
gearbox
loom
ECU
UCH
dash
keys
ignition barrel

Plus extras like hoses, radiator, and then the rest of the car wont be up to the engine so you will need better brakes, suspension, tyres, and after all that, is it worth it when you can buy a ph1 for £1000 these days?

Unless you don't want to declare it on your insurance which is a stupid thing to do
