What could happen if you just do a remap without any more modifications?

I am a K4M owner and I like to experiment just a remap to see what it will happen, and the diferences from stock

What could I do? and expect from it, and if I'll be in risks of damaging seriously anything... I'll do a conservative remap, nothing fancy :

So you tell me that there's no point of repro the ECU?
I saw that probably I get some more binary +-30/40Nm and 10hp in best view, but I'm curious if that reallys makes any difference if I dont change anything more
