Enhancement Detail - Capsicum Red Renault Clio (Image Heavy)

Seeing as I've neglected it for quite a while since the arrival of the 200, I treated the Clio to a day of pampering.

Some before's:

Had a helper today!

Pre-washed with Citrus, left to soak.

Intricates cleaned with ValetPro brush and APC while the car soaked.

Wheels cleaned with brushes and Bilberry Wheel cleaner:

Wheel arches done with AF Citrus Power

Before:

Dodo Juice Basics of Bling and 2BM used for the wash

For Decontamination, I tried TRIX. Not sold on it unfortunately, Tardis and IronX being best in my opinion.

Next up was a quick trial of the Microfibre DA Meguiars System that I purchased at Shiearama, really wanted to use it so had a go with it on the bonnet, even though it really didn't need much doing.

The rest of the car was hand glazed in White Diamond.

Trim taken care of with AG bumper gel.

Some 50/50's

Wheels sealed with Poorboys.

AF Gloss used on the tyres, Before:

Zymol Carbon applied to paintwork as LSP.

Renault Diamond sealed with Reload.

And some finished shots.

The pictures aren't at the quality they are on Facebook unfortunately, was taken with a 14mp Canon camera!

I know megapixels don't mean anything but its a good one.

How did you find the Meg's Microfiber stuff in terms of getting rid of swirls and stuff and to use?

I found it was really good, you can see where needs going over again as you use it, My bonnet wasn't badly swirled though to start off with.

When it was used on my 200 it removed just about every mark and the finish was great considering it was only using 1 pad and polish!

Yea, the Mk2 isn't worth much really so its hanging around until next year when my brother can drive it.

Means I can actually afford to do other things than pay for petrol in the 200!

Thanks! Just makes sense to potter around in this one, there's no more depreciation to happen on it!

The blue one is only on 12k so not worth putting extra miles on needlessly.

Regardless though, every car is worth more with less miles on the clock.

Don't get me wrong, I don't avoid using it because of mileage!
