Erm... head unit fitting.. how to clip it in??

Just got my self a pioneer deh p6000ub, v happy with it, looks very trick

So apon fitting i have managed to get the whole thing in but the cage wont seem to clip in if you know what i mean? Am i supposed to bend the tabs up or some thing? as you can probarbly figure i dont fit head units on a daily basis lol

Also whats the best way to bring a usb cable through the glove box? any one got any pics?

take the cage outta the unit then insert the cage and bend back the tabs then just feed the cable to the glovebox or you can do it to the cup holder infront of the gear stick by just pooping out the panel.

Cheers for that mate, never changed a had unit before, usally happy with the standard ones but since the car didnt come with one it was needed, would really like to have the cable come through the glove box so its outta site, any do's & donts with regards to making a hole? dont really want to but it has to be done

you dont need to make a hole at all,you can pass the cable through

Pass it through wear mate? only had a brief look in the glove box so may have missed it?? wear is the hole, got any pics by any chance mate?

no hole just open and look up,it can be passed over the top of the back of the glovebox through to the back of the radio
