Last week I went into Kwik Fit to have the leak on the exhaust of my 182 sorted. I parked up, went in and told them to reseal the joint on the cat, they said no problem give us the keys and we'll do it in a minute. I sat in the waiting room and soon heard someone shout 'WHOA, STOP', then a loud bang. I went outside to find an old woman had backed out of the fitting bay right into the front of my clio 'SMASH'. Scuffed up bumper and broken splitter. She said it was all her fault (obviously), so we exchanged details and I went home to phone up my insurers. Norwich Union were very helpfull saying they would sort all the repairs and also a loan car through a company called Driver Assist. Driver Assist phoned me and asked what loan car I wanted, asking if a similar size car is OK, I said I want a car with the same engine size and they said OK. They phoned me today to ask would I accept an automatic car, I said OK. Tonight a brand new Mercedes CLK 200 cabriolet was deliverd as a loan car. It's only a small scratch on the clio, but hope it takes a while for them to repair it. So I am now driving a 40 grand mercedes instead of a 6 grand clio. SH1T HAPPENS !!
