I was supposed to be picking up my gorgeous little 172 in Monaco blue on 23rd Dec, but plans have changed at work freeing up this Friday and Saturday. Have spoken with the garage and they don't see why i can't pick it up this friday (16th). Just waiting for confirmation which I'll get first thing tomorrow morning. Everyone please put your collective energy together and keep your fingers crossed for me so I can get it this week, another 7 days without it would be hell!!!!! I'm counting on you guys! lol! :rasp:

definately won't sleep tonight. Best thing about it is that my insurance company aren't going to charge me any extra for this extra week! It's usually "£10 admin fee + VAT + Another random charge" but it's free! Got something free for once!!!! Yey!

They can't get it ready until next week - don't think they've done any preparation on it. Suppose 2 days notice was a bit short. These are going to be the longest 7 days of my life. Damn it.

I looked at mine in a garage on a saturday.. then went back & bought it on sunday.. picked it up on the wednesday evening. (is it me or did that sound like that craig david song!) that was a long 3 days of work i can tell ya!

Yep, the original pick up date was Dec 23rd. Luckily I finish work at 12:30 on Fridays so I can pick it up early afternoon. Have a nice 40 mile run back home from Notts after collecting it, might take a slightly longer route through some B roads.

Sorry to hear that mate... Had to wait a week for mine and it was soooooo long. Renault never seem to stick to deadlines even when servicing.... (unless it wasnt renault)
