The good Evo's (6/8/9) are cheap enough for idiots now.

Shame.

cause he kept a cool head under pressure and kept his foot planted instead of panicking like most people would of done?

For being over there in the first place?

momentary lapse of concentration talking to his passenger who happened to be a drifter lol!

For talking to his passenger and not giving 100% to the track.

It was a generic comment at the current ownership trends of Evo's, but has some application here.

I saw this on the MLR when it went up...I did think he was driving a bit aggressive...I think you even here them say that in the car.

do you do much track work?

no one can be perfect 100% 100% of the time

Look at any motorsport nearly every race you see close calls, its all about how you react in those situations.

9 out of 10 drivers i nthat situation would of stacked it into the armco

Easy being critical when your sitting at your keyboard isnt it

Plenty thanks, if you're talking to your passenger as you're passing your braking point, about to turn in, you've not got your priorities straight! lol.

I think he said he was talking about the saab driver and glanced at his passenger for a second?? Easy to do on a "track day" IMO.

tbh the way he was driving should of got him flagged a few times, he was driving aggressive for a normal day like that at combe hassling people in corners etc...

  Evo 5 RS
if in doubt floor it is more than just a saying lol

If you actually watch the earlier part of the video and don't skip to the accident theres nothing all that suspect about his driving, he obviously just had a blondey lol

Further proof that Evo and subsequently Impreza drivers seem to think the way around a track day is to barge their way through the traffic.

And yes, I do track days and yes they do drive like that. Funnily enough they seem amazing around Coombe but they get in the way around Brands....must be an inability to go around corners properly.....evidently!

You actually hear the passenger in the other car say "He's driving to aggresive for a track day"

In fairness although a bit aggressive there were alot of noobs and lot lot slower cars on track.

  Turbos.
I think the aggressive driving issue is just as much Combe's fault. The circuit has a reputation, this forum and YouTube are littered with crash clips. They just don't appear to police it at all...

I was going to guess he wasn't concentrating, as its not like he 'missed' a turn in point, he just didn't do it! No excuses for that, and again fits in with the "give a fcuk" image that these Come 'Action Days' have.
