Excessive Fuel Consumption Probs

52 reg 172 cup

Over recent weeks the fuel economy has dropped from 70 miles per 10 pounds of petrol to 35 miles per 10 pounds of fuel. Definately no leaks, car is running fine, no problems and on board comp is saying 35 mpg.

Anyone got any ideas?

Lamba Sensor, Pre Cat would be my first guess.

Can these go without any ECU warning lights ??
Because my 127 Cup seems to be drinking alot more than when i first bought it and the only mods I have actually done are V6 airbox, fastchip and exhaust. Also the car feels more powerful in the lower rpms when the engine is cold than when it gets to operating temp! Not sure if this is a sign of lambda problems..or just because its giving more fuel anyway on cold map.
