Hi,
Just got my 182 back from Renualt after they replaced the mid section of the exhaust under warranty. It was blowing - I think that the problem is quite common on 182's.
Everything is great, however, I have noticed that the famous metallic clicking sound of the exhaust cooling down immediately after switching off the engine has magically gone away. Now there is no noise. Also, the noise above 5k is slightly different ... but no apparent different in performance.
Have they Renualt guys fitted the wrong mid section (from a bog standand Clio?!) or should I be happy that somehow this cooling down noise problem has been "fixed"? Is the mid section the same for all Clios?
Can't trust these guys as far as you can throw 'em!
