Exhaust on my 182 snapped in half

  RS Clio 182
Well i was driving down the M1 and i suddenly heard a loud boomy noise coming from under the car - turns out the exhaust has snapped in half right under the centre of the car! So now you can imagine the sound it is making hehe.....im currently looking to get a new exhaust system pretty quickly - my first choice would be a Yozza but ive heard its a bit of a wait on order and the website seems to be down??

Any recommendation on other systems (wanting a slightly more raspy sound than the standard but not chavvy loud) - im in the hudds/halifax area?

P.S. is it dangerous for me to be driving around in this state - i was told by a garage it can be welded back as a temporary measure - but obviously its a sunday so im not going to get anything resolved today - any help would be much appreciated.

Its quite funny as people are probably expecting an AC Cobra to come round the corner due to the amount of noise but its me in a little clio... :S

Just use some exhaust bandage or hilts make an exhaust temp repair sleeve that would be better maybe?

Pipers are a lively aftermarket option.

i wouldnt advise driving it in that state, however if it cant be avoided then needs must. My backbox fell off my old system and i was forced to drive around for a couple of days with it missing - no amount of exhaust bandage or sleeve would have made a difference as it was corroded to pieces which i expect yours has done too.

well i had a yozza, then put a millek on it i prefer the milltek as i have kids also the sound is great aswell with the decat and a simota filter,if you lived closer i have a full original system here, could have borrowed the centre pipe ;)

Just had the Janspeed system fitted - got a really nice deep tone to it when idle and a rasp on high revs - glad i went for the unsilenced version....only problem is its not the best of fits regarding the tailpipes - i might need to get a clip to pull them to the right a bit...taking it on the road for the first time tonight :D
