hiya guys im due for an mot soon and i havent had my ph1 172 for very long. it has a k tec cat back, group n ecu and a bmc induction kit. i got the car checked out by mark fish and he said that the downpipe from the manifold isnt standard either and the 'cat' is aftermarket aswel. now the problem is is that i dont know if this 'cat' is actually a cat or jus a fake box put in there to make it look like a cat. When i tapped the box it didnt seem hollow.

when behind the car the exhaust fumes smell a bit fuelly. possible de-cat??

any help would be great

Could well be a decat. Also could eb a failed lambeda sensor.
