Hmmm I was tempted to get 2011 a few months back as a few lads at work started to get back into it due to the new season.

Might hold out and get this. Although If I do im going to have to buy a wheel etc...what are the options now for wheels, best one to get etc??

Xbox, you can only use the xbox one and a quite expensive Porsche wheel.

PC and PS3 have quite a selection. Good budget wheels sub £100 are the Logitech Driving force GT and Thrustmaster F430(i have this one), It is quite a debate as to which is better, but I am happy with mine. Mid range range wheels are quite expensive like the logitech G25 which I believe is about £200. You can spend silly money on wheels though but for a F1 the budget selection will be fine.

It's much, much better on a pad this year. Obviously it's still epic on a wheel though. I've been using a Fanatec CSR Elite since retiring my old GT2.

Hey Lee, what's the chances of you giving us the 'Best Setups' for each track and car...

I'm crap at setting the car up and just end up going on the forums!

The guys who play in leagues are better than me for that. They probably spend more time playing the game than I do. I spend weeks running round tracks, but very rarely in the finished game.

I'll purchase the PS3 version this year so that I can use my G25, hopefully the PS3 version is every bit as good as the 360 version.

Didn't realise release date was so close so just preordered!

Haven't played any others but going by last two years this is sure to impress me

I did interviews with Gamespot and Outside Xbox yesterday, so they should surface in the next couple of weeks.

I'll answer my own question!!

Demo dates are Xbox 360 - 10th September, PS3 12th September and PC via Steam 11th September.

Demo features 1st day of the Young Driver Test and the first race of Season Challenge at Monza.

think I'll be going for the PC version this year aslong as my laptop can run is at a decent speed, anyone beable to tell me from this spec if I will get decent results?

Means I can buy a controller and take it offshore with me. Then I can use the wheel I have at home which I also use for iracing.

It's just the way MS do things IIRC, I think Sony have different release days of the week for demos and patches

Will take some getting used to after playing Forza.

I really enjoyed the demo. Using Monza as the season opener was an inspired choice.

I'll definitely be buying it.

Played it last night and enjoyed it.

It's quite a generous demo too, giving you free runs on one track and a 5 lap race on the other.

Im not sure on the adjusting the brake bias feature though...

How come the official graphics aren't used as seen on TV?

They are FOM (Formula One Management) graphics iirc and would need to be approved by them to use them in game.

I'm sure Lee has mentioned why before, and I'm sure he can explain better.
