I haven't even made it to the strip yet...... I'm 10 hours in and only at level 7 :S

Mostly been exploring the wastelands, completed a few of the quests oh yer and I was breifly hated by the Legion, so much so that an Assassin turned up and wiped the floor with me

I've taken on and killed the single NightKin (which was a bit like something out of Predator) that was killing cattle at NoVac but the incinerator made short work of him

18 hours in an my save file is corrupted. Seriously pissed off. Seriously.

Then I continue past that message and get...

"The storage device you selected is no longer available. Load cancelled"

FML.

if its any consolation my graphics card in my PC has completely died and I can't play it either.

Bethesda are working on it, apparently.

"On consoles, we are aware that a small group of 360 users are seeing a DLC warning which is preventing you from loading save games. We are absolutely looking into this bug now, along with other reports of save game corruption. It is our highest priority right now that we find out what is causing it. In the meantime, we recommend you save often, and revert to an older save if this occurs."

Doesn't help me, since I only had the one save file, and an Autosave file. Both give the same error.

Yep. It's an issue on the consoles only.

Keep a few save files, just in case.

i was doing the quest where you have to take someone in front of boones sniper shot yesterday.

so today when i spoke to another person i wondered what that line of questioning was for - and i nearly got them killed.... now i have found the real culprit i've lost the speech to say come over here with me and i cant complete the quest

Some more news I've just found.

The patch will sort the corrupted file issue out, but it'll also mean you can now load your previously corrupted files. Which is good news for me, I guess.

I just need to wait for the patch before I can play it again. Which sucks balls.

And it wasn't 18 hours, I just checked. It was 13. Still, pretty sh*t to get that far and then lose everything. Hope the patch comes out soon and sorts it.

All the people on the forums who seem to be having this issue, are all around the 13 hour mark. Which might be a factor. You've been warned. lol.

i cleared the area of blind deathclaws only to realise i wasnt supposed to be going that way anyway, and used up 90% of my ammo doing it, im now in a Vault, 34 i think ??? but as ive no ammo left im really struggling against the geckos, think ill have to go back to an earlier save point or try and buy some ammo from the gunslingers if they sell it

im finding this really hard as well, i can kill 2 but then just cant get passed any more!! i might come back to this part

i came across Ringo by accident, he started shootin me so had to kill him, said id failed a quest because of it

really struggling with poor weapons, armour, and cant seem to find any stimpaks, i used loads at the start

The Nightkins are easy enough with the 10mm Pistol. Makes light, single-shot work of regular Ghouls, too.

I've just done them... for the second time. lol

I failed on the nightkins part used stealth boy and the fire gun as thats all i had killed 2, then went and opend the door and a massive nightkin came out with a sword, shat my pants and ran i was too slow and died,

Whats the deal with a bright ghoul? cant kill it, so i have to jump to different locations,

Did the stuff in the first town. Killed the Powder gang and on my way to Primm. Trying to be a c*nt but it's not easy.

Did the Wild Wastland trait and it adds some good spooky encounters. Found a skeleton in a fridge with a dandy gambling hat with + for perception.

Well been playing for 3 days, got to new vegas, no great trouble, boone and rex as my companions, boone has been a legend, i hardly have to attack anymore, then pow, both disappear.

Now the games hard again.

Just got attacked by 5 radscorpions on way to Mojave Outpost but managed to kill them all by running backwards around a building shooting them!

You mean you found Indiana Jones. It's referencing the crystal skull scene. Will find lots of film references in the fallout games.

Lots of bugs in this game, but I'm liking it so far, even with the bugs. About 12 or so hours in now.

Horrid glitch with my 10mm pistol, I've mod'd it with laser sight. but every time I equip it now my screen goes white. Tried switching to third person, and I have a massive red box around my character with a large white exclamation mark in the middle! Soooo ghay, I've had to ditch my 10mm pistol now because of it :dapprove:

I'll get a picture when I return to the wastelands tomorrow
