FAO - 106 Gti Owners! - Insurance Q's!

Just coming up now to 2 years driving experience under my mums name and been looking at some insurance quotes on a 106 Gti.

Quotes iv'e just got is £1050 in my own name with my mum and dad under me on the policy! .. Im 19 btw.

TBH seems quite a reasonable price to pay for it considering the CS is £2444!!

Wanted a yellow one for soo long but insurance has always been a b!tch!

What are people paying?

Thats a pretty good price.

I paid £1300 TPFT with Elephunk, 19, 1yr NCB but I declared all my mods.

Try Flux or A-Plan, theyre about the best I think.

Thinkin of spending around 2.6k for one, will be using it alongside my clio dci to keep fuel costs cheaper!

Do you do massive amounts of miles then?

Because its not that bad on fuel and 2 x insurance/tax/MOT's etc.
