Not been here that long, joined in January 2007 when I bought my 172. Unfortunately it was a Friday Afternoon car and I only owned it for 7 months, put me off Renaults ever since. When it was good it was great, when it was bad it was expensive.
I think Cragius owned it for a short while too and it passed through Dan's garage at some point.

I started into clio's with this. (I only bought this as a stop gap after selling my Ax Gt.)

Bought with a set of oz's and some lowering springs, ended up like this

Whilst doing the turbo conversion i also bought this, it was already converted to 1.7t so i stole as much as i could and the scrapped it

Got this

I then stole all the good bits from the above and built this (16v, half cage seats etc)

Then this (Y534 KGX)

Then this

Replaced with this

And now i have these two.

Thats just my clios, if i include the ones i've made people buy:

my gf had this

and this

I got this for my mum (also bought this from john) I ended up smashing it into a brand new Saab

And thats just the clios. I've really had too many cars, for only just being 27.

I remember seeing Saner back in a meet at Trafford Centre when he had the green sheep in its original state (before Turinis, etc)...God that was a LONG time ago!!!

The Trafford Centre... Jeezzz! That was on one of the Peaks runs wasn't it? I remember way overcooking it on a hairpin, ending up on the other side of the road and thinking myself very very lucky.

Yeah mate....think it was 2005 or 2006. The Peak Runs were a good laugh...but with the mileage involved from W.Mids over there plus the speed cameras/patrols...not as much fun can be had as years ago.

That was back when Northy was the Rep...bloody hell....that was some years ago!!! #cringe

its been parked outside work for about a year, last time i drove it i did about £1K's worth of damage (didn't crash) bent the rear axle and 3 wheels curb hopping sideways on track, melted the brakes, and destroyed the box due to the brakes LOL!

Ha, great thread. I've not posted for a LONG time but I look in occasionally and often think of Clio ownership again (I had a tussle with one today from Broxburn roundabout in Perth in the Scooby). I quite fancy a caged track Clio!

I began in a W reg 1.2 MTV.

Then the mk2 172 (205 bhp)

I then turned to subarus! Heres the latest cosworth forged 410 bhp WRX wagon!
