Tbh that bay has been shaved, tucked etc. The wiring harness will be running along the inner wings, any studs shaved, seams cleaned and smoothed, Brake lines run inside the bulkhead etc. Although I'll grant you on older cars there is less to tuck away.

I do love some of the VW and JDM stuff that's taken to that level of detail. If I had the time and money I'd love a K swapped EK with the bay up to that standard.
