have you kept your roof lining in mate?, thing is ive been stripping mine out and was pist off to say the least when i realised the inerior plastics lip over the roof lining, i can either keep it in with no plastic to hide the joins or whip it out, dont spose you got any tips on how far youve taken your stripping out. not sure how far to go my self, ie the door plastics where you feet would be if you were sat in the rear. maybe you got pics eh???????

LOL you are truely hardcore mate! My roof lining is still in, so far Ive had the centre console and seats out, changed the carpet over, rear seats are out, all factory seatbelts and mountings are out. Im leaving all the plastic interior trim in except what had to come off to get the rear seatbelts reels out. Heres a pic of it at the moment...

lol John I didnt cover the seat embroidery mate, it was just by accident that the harnesses came over it like that!

Leigh - as long as my Clio isnt on the road which it probably wont be, Ill drive you on Sunday mate. Be nice to have a taste of power perfection again. I had a go in my mate Jonnys Golf GTi the other day and its good to have some quality power under your right foot again.

Craggy - I was going to go for a real stripped out look, it wouldnt be too hard, I could take all that plastic trim out in about half an hour. But for the weight that it will save me its not worth it. Might as well keep it looking half civilised in there. Ive already lost the back seats and false floor in the boot! Also Im not a big fan of noisy cars so Im gonna put a layer of sound deadening all over the floor and inner wings, it wont weigh much and itll make it a lot nicer to drive around in.

Malice - i got the Cobra Suzukas in the end, the kevlar ones theyre so light you can pick them up with your little finger about 5 or 6 kg each I think. The carpet is top secret...bought it off Tony (tonys), its out of a Clio Be Bop. AFAIK the only other Clio with a blue carpet apart from the Williams. But maybe you can dye standard carpets? Well not a black 16v one but do other CLios have the black carpet? Turbo not finished yet, hopefully when it is back on the road the kids wont notice! Theyre Year 5/6 - 9,10 and 11 year olds.

he he u know what to do if 1 of the little horros pi$$ you off then open the boot stick em in the back and take em for a ride with a few handbrake turns involved or strap them in and take em down a old track road and go REALLY FAST so they are nearly P1$$ing them selfs then stop all of a sudden and tell them to get out wait until they are out then drive off about 30 secs come back to find them crying and tell them if they p1$$ around in your class again u wont come back for um.

Fred - yeah i will have to accept that it will probalbly be a bit louder than usual but what I mean is Ive never gone out of my way to make it noisy unless its a side effect of more power. Hence Im not having a 5" tailpipe - yet! If it turns out that it responds well to a big bore system all the way through then thats what Ill do but I havent done it yet, cos I know I wont want all the noise!

i hate little kids lol i was in a restaurant the other day.

there was a family with about 3billion kids ne way 1 kid was screeming cos he didnt get what he wanted and he kept on and on and on, then he poked anouther 1 which made it screem so fappin much i thought he had stuff a fork in his eye or summit. Then there was a little toddler that was in highchair and kept banging it with his feet and this woman got pissed of and said cant you keep your kids under control (and tbh they were being right little gits) and the dad turns round and goes look love keep your f**king big nose out of our busines or i will punch u in the FACE!!!

any way they kept on and when they left loads of people cheered !!!!

sayign that the family next door to us have the best kids in the world sam(boy) is like 3 but from the age of 2 he could read and write is the nicest kiddie ever he comes and sits in my car when im doing work to it and helps with passing me the tools his mum bought him some oceralls and he is a wicked little kid, and his sister hannah is just sooo funny she dont talk much she is just passed 2 but she can read but she likes going on her bike and thats pretty much it. lol
