Finally got 172

After a hunt around finally managed to pick up a 172.
Lovely car, great performance-just waiting to see what MPG will be like now.

Just a few Questions.

Has any one on here changed the Xenon bulbs before?
I did it ok with my MINI but Renault have seemed to make it almost impossible for any 1 to get to it-I just want to put some 6000k bulbs in it!

I was also wondering if anyone has a Tom Tom Go on here (or any other GPS for that matter) how do you get around the Heat reflective windscreen-it dramatically cuts the signal and goes off fix alot more often.

Other than that im pleased with car.

There a small gap in the screen in the middle low down. Put your GPS antena there.

Tomtom Sell an ariel which fits around the outside of the windscreen.. very discreet

I've got tt5m on my phone and it never drops its gps fix so i'm pretty sure the heat reflective windscreen doesn't make that much difference.

Got myself one of the new Tom Tom One and it works like a dream in the 182 without an external aerial, which my Road Angel is unable to do.

This is lucky as the external aerials are only available direct from Tom Tom at the mo.

i used a tom tom go in mine and had a nightmare - over entire journey of about 400 miles had signal about 20% of the time. In my sisters mini it works perfectly all the time so the windscreen definately makes a difference

Yeah thinking it is making a diff deffo.
If I want a good signal I have to hold it by the door window!
