Finally got me a 172 :D

Saw it for sale this morning. Took a train to Bristol. Picked up by Luke in the sexy LY. After a bit of haggling, set a price paid and away we went. Just drove it home and it drives amazing. So much different to the 1.4.

Anyway, here are some iPhone pics (Not many as it is pissing it down with rain now )

Plans at the moment are to just tidy it up with some new wipers, a good polish and new discs and pads sometime soon.

I did it on the dual carrage way. Taking it steady at the moment as its very wet here.

How is it on fuel, compared to your old 1.4?
I've heard they're not bad, like high 30's low 40's (mpg)?

So far it's better on fuel funnily enough. It's at 38 at the moment and have driven around 100 miles so far. My 1.4 was getting between 36-38 even when driving economically.

My 182 is better on fuel than my old 1.2 was.

First thing I'd be doing is paint correction. PB looks the tits with a swirl free mirror finish...
