finish the cams and now the back axle thingy has fooked up

finish the cam set up after blowing the head to pieces, had remap done, changed my insurance to a cheap deal with some help from users on here.

when to work this morning in the car, drove their normally(didn't want to rev much until the engine settles back in) all was fine, made it their fine and then on the way back the back end made a almighty kreeking noise and the back seemed to drop, pulled on to my drive and the whole wheel alignment was push near to the front on the rear wheel arch.

all the brakes, springs and shocks are ok but what the hell has happened????
if its bad im just go and store the car and make it a track car and go buy a 172.

It won't be much of a track car without a working rear end :S

Shock failed ? Tyre flat somewhere ? Spring broken / moved out of place ? Handbrake stuck on one side ?!

hand brake works and the wheels spin freely. tyre's are still inflatted. springs are under alot of pressure atm( squashed to under half the size pointing 2wards the front.) , shocks dont look damaged from what i can see.. in the boot thiers a massive stress mark around where the shocks are held.
all the geometry of the rear sub axle is all angle forward apart from the shocks.

doesnt realy matter now, my mates dad had alook and the sub axle has give up the ghost.
im strip this car down, give my mate the engine/ecu for his car, keep the wheels and other mods for my next car. 172 body kit keept as spare incase i damage the next clio i'll get. sods law.
realy liked this car aswell, just not worth getting repaired.
