Fitting a new HD ....tips wanted please...

Car  Peddled device
I have a new one and it should be a case of saving any pic's,vid's,password's and links etc , unplugging the old one and putting the new one in.I have a new Windows Vista Home Premium package (update voucher,Kaspersky security disc included) to install when it's plugged in.

Any tips? And if it goes Pete Tong can l plug the old one back in?

New install.I'm running Windows Vista now but l don't have any knid of disc etc as it was installed by a mate...and god knows how he did it.

Unless you've installed loads of bits and bobs you dont want anymore?

Here is what I would do:
- Unplug your old hard drive
- Plugin new hard drive
- Install Vista to the new hard drive
- Plug other hard drive in (Boot from either)
- Copy the files you want from your old hard drive to the new one

Then you can decide what your going to do with the old one. I would recommand formating it and backing up all your important documents to it
