Fitting aero catch to front bumper ?

  172 turbo
Hi guys bit of a stupid question but I've seen the aero catches fitted to front bumpers on some clios now tell me those catches arnt the only thing attaching the bumper ?

I mean what's the actual point of these other than a quick release bumper ? Has someone done a guide how to fit them to the bumper eg where to mount and drill , don't get me wrong it's annoying the amount of fasteners to remove the bumper and if two of these can do the job I'll defiantly fit some thanks

The point is a quick release bumper. As discussed recently here -

The clips in the arch/ wing are enough to hold the bumper in place but the aero catches make it a little more secure.
