flamer kit on a valver?

Has anyone ever put a flamer kit on a valver, the type with just a spark plug in the exhaust. The only reason is I would'nt mind one purely for tailgaters as the really pis* me off and I'd love to see there stupid faces as a flame pops out at them. I didnt know whether they'd work with just a decat or not? Thanks < Sam

These flamer kits burn unburnt fuel - usually turbo cars they work best on.

I don't know if you could really get one to work on a N/A car.

You'd have to speak to someone into ecu's and mapping to see if you could get it mapped so on overrun for example it still puts a little fuel in.

Andy at GDi would be able to answer this one - he knows these cars inside out.

Buddy... i no some1 who makes and sells these kits dor 16v cars... and ive seen a few vids and the flames look really good.. PM us and ill give u his msn addy or his mobile number!!

maybe we could put on a show, it would have to be a rollign one though as the my car only flames on the overrun, do you have a middle scilencer? i dont have a scilencer or a cat but have origanol manifold and a rear scilencer.. you have a manifold aswell ?
i have a manifold ready for my F7R :)

yeah i got manifold decat rear silencer....where the middle one? I just thought it was manifold into cat into the rest of the exhaust??!?!

If it's the tailgaters rather than "the boys down at the cruise".... Then I would recommend a gas system, very funny, huge flames and proper fire, not just the little blue or orange pops. Basically has a propane canister in the boot, with injectors pointing just out of the exhaust tips, then run the "torch" button onto the dash and bingo. Someone's going to have a black number plate :rasp:
