Order them up mate, we could do the seat and the catches in one day i reckon.

Sounds good.

Get Mike Woodford to do the cambelt and fit a set of 197 cams. That would be the best compromise as it seems a waste not doing the cams when you've got the perfect opportunity.

Nah if I get it done soonish it'll just be the cambelt/ aux belt change. I will eventually fit some 438s.

That's not a bad idea. Id forgotten that option myself.

What seat and frame you fitting. A 2" drop would suit me.

Quick update.

New custom built cobra x-low replica. To replace the high out of level 'clio specific' OMP subframe. Thanks Chris :)

Have you done the belts on this again Fletch?

Not yet mate. I still can't decide between just having the cambelt/aux belt changed or slinging in some 483 cams. So it's still off the road for the time being :dapprove:

Walkthrough type on how you fitted these?
Always liked them, just never knew how to fit them haha

Chris has a guide..

Who did the subframe for you fletch?

Chris (Dagenham Dustbin) friend made it for me.

New profile ;)

You have to get cams after keeping it off the road for so long.

lol.. 438.

Oh yeah, these new cams give you 300bhp ;)

My painting skillz are unmatched ;)

Can I have the OMP subframe back ?

Yeah of course you can mate. As long as I can see over the steering wheel with the x-low subframe fitted :rasp:

We'll have to make sure we/I tighten up all the bolts this time :p

Yeah that would be good ;)

When do you reckon you'll be back up and running?

Still no sure mate. Hopefully springtime.

:) Do it!!

Good to see an update on this :)

Cheers Ash. I think I will go for some 438s :)

Thank you :) Will see what its like on a PH2 like position places,

Thanks for the help today Chris and Tim. :)

They're slightly out, as I had a small accident when cutting the inner skin with the 4" disc cutter, and that left a bump on the face of the bonnet  :(

My Corbeau side mounts didn't fit the X-Low replica. So hopefully with a bit of fabrication I'll be updating the thread soon with them being fitted.
