floor on 182

i sat in the passenge seat for the first time yesterday, iv noticed my floor is very uneven, as if theres sumting under the carpet, theirs a massive bumpin the middle of the passenger footwell, any1 elses like this?

Ive got that under the carpet on my 172!!! Didnt think much of it but now Im curious!!! HELP!

Get the carpet up and have a peek? Dont remember noticing it in my 172, but I was hardly ever a passenger.

Its slightly uneven in mine aswell... lol.. cant say ive thought much of it.. its been there from new.

its the underlay of the carpet, nothing to worry about, and quite normal

the only time i have sat in the passenger seat was when my old man wanted a drive of the 182...

i must admit i was more concerned about my dad staying on the road! he gave it more grief than i normally do! had to remind him i would like some tread left on my tyres... lol loud

Mine had an uneven floor - I think it might have been down to Id just written it off - the roof was rather uneven from memory also... lol
