Tesla MP3 2021
my car is currently in the 3rd renault dealer this week trying to get 4 problems sorted out on the car.
They are:
No Air Con Gas left needs re-filling but no leak.
Coolant being lost.
Xennon not working/broken headlamp brackets.
and the most recent oil around the rocker cover.
So when the cooland was first repo after a few weeks of owing the car in sep 05 it went into arnold clarke warrington - who replyed yeah there is a problem with a small gasket somewhere but now fixed, total bolloxs....still loosing coolant so of to renault liverpool with this and the problem that i had with the breaks(but they are DEFFO sorted now lol) who then turned round and said its fixed.
A few weeks down the line and still using coolant...left it a few weeks whilst trying to sort out the above 3 problems at renault liverpool, then started to notice oil around the rocker cover - NOT GOOD!!.
so car goes to Arnold Clarke Farrell Street Warrington yesterday and receieved a phone call today saying that the head gasket has gone - hence it loosing coolant and there being a slight oil leak.so god knows how long i have been driving round with a leaking head gasket for, due to 2 dealerships not being able to spot or properly test for the fault
I just cant beleieve that it needs a new head gasket when its only just gone over 18months old

but i do come out with somthing from this...as he said that i would have had to pay for the aircon to be re-filled but because they are replacing the gasket and other bits involved with the gasket then they would have to re-fill it anyway...so it would be covered under the entire warranty work .
(sorry for the big rant guys but just needed to get the rest of it off my chest as the poor girl at renault uk got the brunt of it before)
