  421 Cammed 172
Has anyone used the above on an Oil change??

My cars on 75k now and i'm planning to do an oil change pretty soon.

I'm thinking of flushing the engine using this product and wondered if anyone had an experiences with it??

Any input is appreciated guys.

We used this product about 5 yrs ago on all customers cars and had some engine failures with it so I would strongly recommened not to use it:dapprove:

depends how knackered the engine is really. A very dirty gummed up engine is probably best left without using it as you can disturb buildup. On an engine that's had oil in for too long and it's a bit neglected and maybe slightly tappy it's no bad thing at all. On a well maintained engine it's pointless

Cheers for your input everyone.

Danny do you think it would do any harm to a 40k Mile 206 engine with noisy tappets. I wanted to try engine flushing it before having the tappets re-guaged as it may prove the cheaper way to get rid of the noise before i sell it.

Im a bit confused as to whether to give a go on the clio now as i don't really want the engine to fail on me but i'd like to think i was doing the engine some good by flushing it out.

used this at my old work for over 5 years and not had any problems

and does work at quitening tappets down, as ive done it before on a few cars, just put it in and leave to idle for 20 mins etc, dont drive it tho. then just change the oil as normal
