yeah I am too, although I have a feeling it's much to do with keeping the games 60fps. Rain on windscreen, not so difficult, but track reflections, car reflections etc.. probably wouldn't find the extra horse power.

They wanted buttery smooth 60FPS it's not going to happen this gen once you start factoring in headlight beam cast/reflections etc for 12 cars, same with rain droplet and spray effects.

GT5 may have both but the frame rate is not consistent and the tearing it suffers is a nightmare. I'd rather wait for the next platform and have it done right.
