I've booked mine in at Ren Coulsdon. Monday morning.

Can't wait to see what they think. Lol. Just had the cat replaced + 72k service 2 weeks ago @ Rentech.

  S'trollin on size 7s
just had mine done today, advised me on tyres , spot lamps not working and a wiper which has a slit in it..all of which i knew about , but also had a hole in my CV boot!? they priced me a new driveshaft at £250 LOL .. bye

Right finallllllly had my results posted me after 2 phonecalls and 2 weeks.

Grand total £1,549.49...

Engine Oil Low, Coolant Level Low + Change = £114.08
Cambelt Replacement Required + Waterpump = £946.65
Brake Fluid Service = £49.36
Rear Pads/Shoes = £148.84
Rear exhaust mounting worn/weak = £59.74
2 new rear tyres (NSR= 4mm, OSR = 3mm) = £115.41 per courner.

The rubber is a little perished on the exhaust mounts but it's sitting fine and not knocking.
Tyres they quoted me for don't appear to be PE2's.
Brake upgrade is happening next weekend for the front, discs/pads/lines/fluid so will get a fresh set on the rear while I'm at it.
Belts were done at JMS in early June this year for £650, not sure if the waterpump would have been replaced. Anybody know if it's likely they did? Or if it's possible to change without having to re-do the belts? Or how to tell if it needs doing?
Coolant & oil I can do myself.

Waterpump can be changed with just the aux belt off.

If your loosing coolant from near the belts its likely its gone.

Pig of a job, we did it in Feb, this month I have had a new PAS pump which is a pretty much identical job and I let the garage do it, was £100 labour plus parts.

I had my ph1 in the other week, I personally dont think they even bothered to do any kind of checks on it! It was in the same space I left it in! The cd player was on the same song, seat hadnt been moved and it was left in gear (how I leave it)

I have an MOT this week, if it fails on bushes and stuff then would it be worth giving Renault an ear bashing?

I had nothing like a report of any kind or the travel kit given to me, just a 'the car is fine and has no problems at all'

I know for a fact the dogbone mount is fooked!

Cool thanks. Did a search on here and found that waterpump failure's are quite rare/hardly ever happen. I'm not sure what a sign of a leaking/failed waterpump would be? High engine temperature and water pissing out the bottom of the engine bay?

Pritty sure coolant levels are fine, will check in a bit though, might just need changing which is what I think they meant.

how have they come to the conclusion that the cambelt needs doing if you've had it done this year? lol

wonder what they would say if i took mine in there and didnt say anything with an audi lump in it? could be amusing

Haven't a clue. There's a JMS stamp in the handbook from June this year that says 'Full Aux/Cam Belt Kit'. Probaly just saw that it's 5 years old and there was no dealer stamp.

Was good to have the coolant change & rear brakes were worn pointed out to me though.

All they came back with was a 'rough' wheel bearing which I know about anyway as i'm getting new discs on the rear anyway.

I was expecting a cambelt quote, quote for my exhaust mount etc like listed on some peoples reports already.

There must be more wrong with it surely! I am sure I am due a coolant and brake fluid change.

Looks like they are the guy's to do the MOT :clown:

had mine done a few weeks ago, only thing came back was cambelt as they werent sure if it was done or not, as i had bought the car recently and this was the first time i'd gone to this Renault dealer (though it had been done!) :)

Just camd back from mine, no problems apart from they said it needed engine oil, put some in and charged me £5 lol, no other problems apparently but I didn't get a report :S got the free kit though :)

Then think I got f**king caught speeding on the way back by an unmaked van placed right before the limit going up from 40 to 70.

i got caught on saturday. goin from a 40 into a 60, van was sat by the 60 sign. i accelerated into the 60 rather than waitin until after the change in limit, completely oblivious to the bright yellow van till after i'd gone past lol

Exact same situation here matey, was a white van though kinda parked into the hedge, hopefully I was far enough away though and I think I slammed on fast enough. Must have looked abit of a tw*t but hopefully it got me out of it lol.

fingers crossed for you, my NIP came through yesterday :(

Think they might have a problem with mine, ar hasnt been registered as being mine yet, DVLA still think its with the previous owner, when really its gone from them, through to trade then onto me. Yet the DVLA have lost my log book they think, so they have to sent me another one to send back to them to transfer it over to me :S very odd situation really.

To the point, what tw*ts they are planting the vans right where the limit goes up though, I did make sure to give the van a good finger or two as I passed after noticing, they were even hiding in the hedge slightly!

Worst part is I was going below the limit the whole of the journey too apart from there because the surface becomes completely flat and the limit goes up, and I can only get 6 points in the first year too.

Ooops, the mobile vans can get you from upto 1000m away, just be sure to accelerate after the speed limit changes next time lol, How fast were you going?

Balls, think I must have been caught then, probably only got up to about 46ish then spotted them and dropped right down to 30 odd I think. Complete b******s how they get away with hiding in them spots.
