I little update, and now just waiting for my new rear dampers to arrive from a certain member who is not getting back to me and promised they would be here Thursday, lets see what happens there :dapprove:

The back end is getting the treatment now

I can't explain how fooking akward the rear calipers where when I took out the handbrake lever , trying to compress the washers and try and put in the lever and the cam was so hard, thought I was never going to do it, but a lot of patience and using a random tool that I found and it paid off

Great Work!
what cleaners have you been using to get rid of grease and general dirt prior to spraying?

(eg gearbox, engine, Boot floor area)

Gunk is pretty good as is thinners and a paint brush and a pressure washer.

with the boot floor i just used soapy water and a brush then wiped it all down with thinners before spraying

Brilliant, great to see people look after these

Should have kept it 100% OEM

That would be to boring.

With previous cars ive made them my own. I hate just being part of the crowd. I want to stick out and work outside the box. Plus i love doing the extra bits that normally wouldnt get done.

Selling it straight after?

wont you lose out on a fair bit doing that?

I mite sell, I mite not, see what happens, but its not about the money TBH its just about doing something I love and seeing the end result from what I had in the beggining

How did you clean the calipers and get them looking like they do before spraying them? Outstanding....

And on another note the work you are doing is inspiring! Patience and hard work pays off and this is proof! I've subscribed and can't wait to see the finished product. Well done pal.

thinners. Wire brush and wire wheels and sandpaper. It takes a while mate.

the best way to learn is to do it your self.
