Front Splitter

  172 Mk2 & 197
Hi

I have a Monaco blue Mk2 172FF and currently have a carbon fibre 'Cup' style splitter, I think it is a KTec one. Anyway, during the recent heavy snow it has cracked in 2 places and I fancy replacing it with something different.
What splitters are used on these cars, many years ago I had the Laguna splitter on my Saxo and this was the splitter of choice back then. I am sure I seen a thread on here a while ago about a Pug 207/307 one or similar being fitted but can't find the thread.
Any ideas on decent splitters for my car? as mentioned it's Monaco Blue, it has white 16" Speedline Corses, white mirrors and 2.016V door mouldings. It is also on VMaxx coilovers so is quite low.

Thanks

Keith

Car looks amazing, new wheels? Which dealer's did you get the splitter from? Was it the Leicester one out by the Renault dealer (heading towards loughborough)?

I tried getting one from there a while ago and the guy wasn't to sure what i was on about, he showed me one but I think it must have been the big one, did you just ask for the small 307 splitter?

Cheers,
Will

Hi

Thanks for your replies.
I like the look of that 307 one but don't know if I fancy something a bit deeper??? Having said that the KTec carbon one catches on speed ramps and kerbs all the time so might be better off going for the smaller one.
I had thought about a Cupra R one but my last car was a Cupra R which was lowered quite a bit too and the splitter didn't last too long after a few speed ramps. I had to replace the thing twice in about a year and a half!!!!!!

Here is a pic of the car (before the mirrors etc were painted white)
