Hi all,

i am after getting a set of coil overs for my ph1 the car is only used now and again just for fun.
I have been looking on the K-tech web site and thinking about the KW adjustable shocks.

I gave "Black art design" a call as we use them on our Aston racer and they would offer me a proper set of full coil overs the rears being the same as the fronts.

My question is has anyone else used this kind of set up and if so what was it like?

Here is a link to there web site and the guy used to work for Leada...

A full set, adjustable but also with a nice ride in a stright line but they are valved to stiffen up when put into bends works out to be about £1700.

Very expensive but these guys know there stuff and mainly do shocks for motorsport guys, the springs are Eibach.

There is also full support so when you buy them if there is something you are not happy about like being to hard they will get it sorted for free weather this be a re- valving or different spring rates.
So its not just "thanks for your money now sort it out for yourself"

Only hardcore racers need apply.....lol

Let me get this straight...you are buying £1,700 coilovers for a car that is used only rarely just for fun....?

More money than sense?

What sort of development are they doing?

I am a great beliver in "Do things right and do them once"

Not more money than sense, i just called them to see what sort of shocks they did and thought i would put a post up to see if anyone else had ever had the same type as i had not seen this before on a Clio.

As i dont drink or smoke or spend money on anything else (wife and kids do that) i enjoy spending it on my "toy"

What ever rocks ya boat i guess....

Dont know about that but the guy who owns the company used to work for Leada so many years of knowledge.

He just said that if i was to buy a set there would be a back up service if i had any problems rather than "there you go thanks for your money"

So sometimes that makes all of the difference in buying a product.
