For a couple of months now I have had occasional problems with my car not wanting to start. Fortunately the first time it happened TomTom (as in the member of here) was able to sort the problem. It was due to a dodgy connection in the fuse box area, due to a build up of water precipitates and other gunk (no arch liner and broken fuse box housing offers little protection).
A quick scrape of the fuse prongs and a spray of WD40 and all is working again.
Its happened a few times since and I have just carried out the same procedure and all had been well.
However 3 weeks ago (around the time of the torrential rain/flooding) the same thing happened again but this time no matter how hard I scrape and spray with WD40 I simply cannot got a good connection. The fuses (btw I think they are fuses but they may be relays, see fig. 1) seem to click when the igntion is on but the immoboliser light stays on. Every now and then I can get the engine to start but as soon as I pull away it cuts out again.
What else do you suggest? I can't get it to a garage as it won't bloody drive anymore than 100m at best.
Is it possible a set of new fuses/relays (whatever is in fig1) will sort it? Or are fuses either blown or not blown?

Thanks
Sam
