G3 glass paint protection

Renault have just purswaded me to have this, although how can i be sure they have done it, well i do have a certificate and warrenty, but does anyone actually know what its all about cause ive looked on the net but cant find any info, they have gave me a briefcase of extra bottles of stuff and told to clean it with clean water only... im cleanin it tomo so ill see but any ideas would help
plus i have car washin OCD so now im guna be bored every saturday lol
well ill spend 3hours at the gym like last week =]

You should have come here sooner and sure you could have saved some money...these things don't last that long and mean if you polish or clay the car you will remove them, although they degrade just through washing over time anyway.

Not all it is cracked up to be, best of sticking to a decent sealant or wax still in addition to just washing it.

grrr! i loved my car when i clayed it! and i polish my car every week anyway i thought it was a good idea at the time, but already regret it even before u two posted =[ im guna run my hand over it tomo when i clean it and if its bitty ill be clayin it anyway grrr

You probably don't want to be polishing everyweek anyway!

Even running the paint protection no harm in washing it and giving it a coat of wax.

its part of the g3 range like blactop polish waste of money really you could of done it yourself

yup waste of money I had my car guard x treated (all the same s**t really) only reason I had it done was because it was free.

doesnt last long at all as during winter you need to use proper car washing products to get the salt off which also removes any coating the stuff leaves.

well yeh dont bother!! it was good on the sides but tryin to get baked on squished flys off the front.. the amount you have to scrub! i think im guna clay it and do it my way but then ive just wasted money ... barrr humbug!!
