Gave the Polished wheels a good clean!



  Petrol Blue 182.
Think this goes in here lol

Due to the salt on the roads, the polished lips on my wheels started to corrode.

gave them a qick wash with hot sapy water to remove some of the build up of brake dust etc. then i was able to see the extent of the damage the salt had begun to do.

used Brasso Wadding to start to remove the salt

whislt that dried, i retired for a game of solitare on the PC :)

when the brasso was dry, i removed it to revel most of the salt gone :)

so another layer of brasso was applied, when that had dried most of the salt had gone, leaving newish looking polished wheels :D

few little bits of marks left by the salt that i will try to get rid of tomorow, but for half a days work im pretty impressed :D

Looks like you've done a good job on the silver parts, I always find the middle the hardest. It really gets in to the metal there and corrodes quite badly!
