Due to the salt on the roads, the polished lips on my wheels started to corrode.
gave them a qick wash with hot sapy water to remove some of the build up of brake dust etc. then i was able to see the extent of the damage the salt had begun to do.
^ notice the rubbage on the tire!
used Brasso Wadding to start to remove the salt
whislt that dried, i retired for a game of solitare on the PC
when the brasso was dry, i removed it to revel most of the salt gone
so another layer of brasso was applied, when that had dried most of the salt had gone, leaving newish looking polished wheels
few little bits of marks left by the salt that i will try to get rid of tomorow, but for half a days work im pretty impressed
