Gearbox oil - how many litres

Had my gearbox oil changed on my 172 at 30k service.

It feels alright when I drove it home, but now after 3 days, the gear change feels notchy and harder to change gear, not as smooth as before.

I think they just put in 3 litres... I thought the gearbox needs 4 litres?

anyone can help?

wouldnt mind knowin were the hell u put oil in for gear box on mine and what oil it needs.

i know this is of no help but my 1.4 takes 3L

ill try and remember to find out for you at work tomorrow but someone on here should know the answer anywayz

I asked the Renault dealer to put in for me.

But I had a look myself, theres a drain plug underneath the gearbox.
its adjacent to the engine oil drain plug, they are the same 8mm square ones.

To put the oil in, theres a rubber plug on the side of the gearbox, directly under the airfilter box.

The oil is 75W80 Elf oil I think, thats what they told me.
