  2003 clio 172 ph2
Any idea where i can ger one? Its the green topped one next to the driveshaft as after i changes my engine i broke it but didnt realise untill oil started to leak from there.

And how hard are they to change?

I never even knew they had a gearbox oil sensor. You sure your not on about the reverse light switch?

takes two seconds to change, either whap it out then quickly stick new one in, but you will lose a bit of oil.

Or

Drain the box first then do it.

Or

Never done it myself but jack the passenger side up as high as you can (but be safe) then change it and there shouldn't be much if any oil lost.

all my new oil put in there tonight drained itself after fitting the whole engine with nothing missed out then noticed this snapped was gutted.

even if the plastic has snapped off does it still unbollt?

The only thing this does is turn on your reverse lights (and read wiper during reverse). You can even just use a proper sized to blank it out (so it doesnt leak) while you get the sensor and you can still use the car.
