I've managed to get a set of Genuine Renault roof bars to use on my Cup and they'll be used with a Thule bike carrier to stick my mountain bike on.
Has anyone used the Renault bars and if so, is there a way of fitting them so they don't damage the paintwork when they're clamped onto the roof?
Are they solid enough with a bike on? They don't seem as sturdy as the Thule bars I had on my previous car!
