Good Head Units - 172 - suggestion please!

Looking to get one with bluetooth as well for phone calls, will consider any manufacturer and setup

alright mate i suggest you get a seperate system for your phone something like a parrot hands free kit with caller ID can get that for around £100
then buy an alpine 9857 head unit really good unit and lots of filters and adjustments to get the best out of your system thats what i think is the best option from working with the stuff every day i hope this helps mate visit caraudiosecurity online for good prices

Alpine units are ok but look far too after market IMO..

The Becker Grand Prix 7992 is the one i have, the bluetooth pairing is spot on, it also matches the dials and climate control unit really well due to its red back light..

Yeah was impressed with Als when it was in, needs a cage ideally though and extra wiring if you want preouts which I wasnt so impressed with, sq is sopt on and the bluetooth was nice as well

i dont have one, but the beckers i have seen have been fantastic... mainly because they look stock which is always a bonus.

rob i am interested in getting on with integral bluetooth as whilst the parrot thing is superb its too aftermarket and doesnt fit well on the dash imo, in the cars iv seen it in anyway.

£300 for the becker looks guid. djwjohn - mates rates on an install :rasp: ??

I have pioneer dehp9800 BT, amazing unit with auto eq and time alignment. Sound quality is spot on and bluetooth works seamlessly.

The touch is that your bluetooth phone can be paired and your mate can stream tunes to it via BT. If a call comes in it will automatically still be paired with your phone not theirs!
