To be fair I think that this is awful.

She is a low level offender being victimised by her celebrity. A more aprpriate punishment would have been some serious community service (think Boy George cleaning the streets). The LA County Jails are overcrowded and think of the resources that have gone in to putting her on the special celeb wing with suicide watch.

Its a major f**k up to release and then jail someone again.
