Goodnight Clio - SORN'd Content.

Unfortunately no one was willing to buy my Clio. About a million people rang, but they didn't check insurance first.

So I've SORN it as of Sunday as the the MOT, TAX and insurance runs out at the end of the month (good timing) and I am going away to New Zealand on Sunday for 4 months.

I gave it a final wash and will be tucking it away in the garage once 25 years of crap is moved to one side.

Was hoping someone would have wanted it for some summer fun, but just leaves me with it in October 3 years and still rolling..

Insure it before you go! I'd never have an uninsured car ever again no matter what it's doing - even if it's just sitting somewhere.

Recommend getting the MOT done NOW otherwise you'll be in a massive catch 22 like I had with my Scoob.

No MOT means no insurance, which means no driving to MOT .. that's ignoring the tax haha which you can't get unless you've got both

Youll love newzealand, my mother in law emigrated there four yrs ago, im hopin to do same thing eventually, i been out once and it was awsome, make sure u do a skydive, i did and the views where fab

He doesn't do a lot, had a hard working life now just sleeps 23 hours a day, lol.

Too late for MOT, plus I don't want to waste 4 months on it.

I can imagine the problem with all that. But I'll worry about that when I get back. I have access to a trailer if needs be.

It is a shame, unfortunately the MINT wheels came as additional extra with the car if someone bought it, but as no one has, i'll keep the wheels.

I'm going for the winter season, but not one person has said a bad word against yet and I've spoken to plenty. I should get the views everyday on the ski slopes

As far as i'm aware, you're allowed to drive your car to an MOT testing station without a valid MOT, if that makes sense.

Using a Nikon D60.

Hoping that will be the case, but I won't worry about it yet.
