Goodridge Brake Lines??

Looking for some brake lines, are these the best??

There are different types, zinc and stainless steel I believe, but what's the ones to have??

I've done a few searches but couldn't find anything conculsive.

Been looking on the bay and various sites, but anywhere particularly cheaper?

Cheers:cool:

Get stainless for the few extra pennies, they won't corrode ;)

edit: try traders on here, i'm sure that i didn't pay that much for mine!

Haha 'Lord Fred'

I've noticed though that some say stainless, but then in the description say zinc coated. Not sure if this matters or not.

I will look in the traders section and send some enquiries. Thanks

Its one of those things that if you dont know what you are doing is well worth getting someone like Lord Fred or MWM or whoever to fit for you TBH.

As an example, I have a corsa that had braided lines fitted when I bought it, what I didnt realise initially was that the previous owner who had fitted the lines had done so in a way that meant at a certain position in the suspension travel they contacted the CV joint.
I found this out when I went into a roundabout, pressed the brake pedal, and it went to the floor. Was bloody lucky not to have a really serious accident.

So although they might seem like a piece of cake to fit, experience of where to route them etc is worth its weight in gold unless the ones you get are an exact direct replacement part of the same length and can follow the same route etc as the originals and fit in the same retaining clips etc.

Also its a part where I would be more worried about quality than price in the first place TBH when deciding on where to buy, you dont want to end up with cheap copies!

I wouldn't fit them myself NO WAY lol haha. I can barely manage taking the wheels off on my own :p

My mechanic was going to fit all the bits and bobs I buy. Discs, Pads, Liners, ARB, Struts etc. Just in case I manage to f**k something up.

Still need to buy the parts though.

Lord Fred do the honours mate and tell me how much these would be? The best/strongest kind, not the cheaper ones.

Thanks
