Got my eye on this 172...

Only 25 miles from me and he price today went from 1995 to 1850. Obviously I'd need to check on FSH/belts, etc but anyone know anything about this car or this mileage 172's in general that I should ask about?

Belts like you say, servicing at atleast 12k at the most.

General wear and tears, lots of history should tell if its been cherished

Phoned earlier, been sold Ah well.. I'll probably find a better one.

This one is on AutoTrader as well and apparently had belts, etc. It's got a V6 airbox, k-tec exhaust and quick shift lever so maybe someone's from here? Any history?

The belt things not a problem.
If its claimed to have been done make sure theres some proof and if it hasnt been done use it as a bargaining tool

Yeah I'll definately make sure receipts are there and everything has been logged.
