Got My GT Turbo!!!!

Swapped my valver on sunday for a GT Turbo and Im happy to say it all looks fine!!!! It did over 200 miles that day and only went above the first line on the temp guage about twice! Its got a few bits that need doing but other than that i think its awesome!

Ill still come on Cliosport so dont panic!

I love my GT Turbo... soooo much torque and they pull like a train from low down in any gear, so mid range is superb.

i miss my gtturbo it was a minter (one of very few decent ones left) wish i could have kept it as well as getting my 172 but my funds wouldnt stretch to it

Only looks standard on the outside...

Lots of upgrades, but all for performance and handling, so is a bit of a sleeper as youd think it was pretty standard.

A standard 5 turbo on a G plate with 35k on the clock is no way worth 10k. No more than £2.5k and that would be at a push.

I just sold my standard raider with 46k on the clock for £2k for a quick sale.

£10k, your in dream land.!

One of the guys in the GTT owners club brought a H plate 5 turbo with 11,000 miles on it for £3.5k, and that was mint.

If your mum turned down £10k for it then you need to have a word mate.! either that or your talking crap.!

Sounds overpriced Barry, Ill agree with that. Maybe mum just didnt want to sell it hence turning down 10 grand. Its pretty much the same with me. OK once my valvers back on the road itll be worth a lot more than it was before the rebuild, but even as it was last year, if someone had offered me say 7 grand for it, I wouldnt have taken it. And the book price was a lot less than that.
